"There are more things in heaven and in earth than what are dreamed in your philosophy" - Shakespeare. †
An excerpt about the song….“The song was recorded on 18 October 1965, and was complete except for the instrumental bridge. At that time, Lennon had not decided what instrument to use, but he subsequently asked George Martin to play a piano solo, suggesting “something Baroque-sounding”. Martin wrote a Bach-influenced piece that he found he could not play at the song’s tempo. On 22 October, the solo was recorded at half-tempo (one octave lower) and tape speed was doubled for the final recording, solving the performance challenge and giving the piano solo a unique timbre, reminiscent of a harpsichord”….Awesome…Just awesome…

My ultimate guitar hero…. I really do admire him and want to meet him and hopefully jam with him and get some tips from him :) At one time I was going through a down phase and I came across his first solo album Niandra Lades, his recent release The Empyrean (named my guitar after it)and the short film Stuff and I could feel the pain he went through after being kicked out of RHCP. I mean his songs “My Smile Is A Rifle” and “Dark Light” are intense! He’s been through the light and the dark side of the dream factory of Hollywood and music..I really do think he should of been in the documentary It Might Get Loud…He’s John Frusciante and he needs to release an autobiography so I can buy it and read it :)
Love you Mr Frusciante :)PS: Your White Gretsch Falcon is beautiful. Even more than my Ibanez AF75tdg ;)
